Fast RAD Install 1

I need to install a RAD but never did this before, does the rad need to be wired to a specific port? and what programming need to be done on the Norstar?

I try to use the last open port but you can use any port.

Basic programming to dial in:
Feature 9**
Change password: enter new password
Press OK then Next
Display: GEN ALARM DATA
Press DATA
at Auto Answer Change to on (Or you can use Operator Transfer)
press next: assign the line to answer
Press OK
Enter answer delay (IN Seconds)
change Baud Rate to 9600

Now go to KSU programming to give the port access to the line. Then dial in.

Nortel will tell you to make sure you put the Rad on the ksu only but I have seen them work on sm.
