Fast Data Access MMU Miss and hung

Hi,

I've this SUN E450 installed with Solaris v7. Today the machine displayed error messages 'Fast Data Access MMU Miss' and it got hung. There were some other application running at that moment. Can someone tell me what's the problem with this machine. I'm kinda concern is there someone trying to access this machine remotely to boot from CD-ROM or is there a hardware problem.

it is a hardware message not a security message, the MMU is the Memory Management Unit. It maps virtual memory to physical RAM memory.

As a guess, the MMU thought it knew where a virtual memory reference was in physical memory and did not. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Hi Jimbopalmer,

I checked the /var/crash/hostname, /var/adm/messages and /var/log/syslog but the system did not record any messages in it. Is there any other places that I need to look into where I've miss it.
