I have 2 T1 DID ties to an Asterisk Server. When people attempt to dial in through our PBX to the Asterisk Server from certain states / countries they get a fast busy, while other people dialing in, have no problems at all. If the same people who have problems dialing the asterisk server, dial a regular phone in our office, they have no problem.

Here is some info:

We are in the final phase of switching between 2 phone companies at the moment, all ties to the old phone company are down, but they still have some of our 800 numbers. This problem didn't start happening till we started this switchover. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanx

how does the call come in to the PBX ...is it a PRI as well?

do the callers dial a NPA NXX 1234 or is it a tollfree number to reach teh asterix server?

is the call reaching the PBX and then get a fast busy or is the fast busy from the CO itself?

Call comes into the PBX via a PRI. The number on the PBX is an ACD which does an NCFW to a number corresponding to our asterisk server.

try changing your OPT in the CDB from CFO to CFF. This may help. LD 15. not 100% sure but this may help.

RDR_DATA is already set to CFF

Thanx though.. any other suggestions

What is the DSEL set at in LD16 because I have had problems in the past forwarding in and out with it set to VOD. Once I set it to either VCE or 3VCE it worked perfect. It has somthing to do with the signaling at the CO switch. Just a guess.

I changed the DSEL from VOD to VCE and still have the same problem. Any more suggestions?

Try dialing the trunk access code and entering the numbers to isolate if it is a trunking issue from a BARS issue. If the calls go thru then you need to add the NPA and NXXs in ld 90.
