I cannot remove DXD from a button on Extension 21. It is frozen to where Line #2 appears on all other telephones. I use procedure #113 - 2 to unassign. I can make the button go blank but when I assign Line #2 to that button DXD pops up again. None of the lines are assigned in procedure #205. Any ideas?

Can you move it to another button? just thinking maybe move it then delete it.

A DXD button can only appear on Ext. 10, so whatever is labeled as DXD on Ext. 21 certainty isn't.

Go directly to Ext. 21, Feature 00, then press the button labeled DXD, and see what it really is. Perhaps an oddball line? Then go back to Ext. 10 and System Programming and remove whatever it is.

I haven't tried moving it to another button. Only trying to remove the button labled DXD.

I agree that only Ext. 10 can have a DXD button. I'm seeing the DXD button by getting into Ext. 21 from Ext. 10, Feature 00, System Program, System Program, Central Tel Program, 21.

I discovered the button when I was testing ext 21. It was suppose to be Line #2. When I went back to Ext 10 I discovered it said DXD not Line #2.

I went into system programming removed it, but it keeps popping back up. I remove it, it shows blank, when I do a #301, 3 Select a button, it won't allow me to assign Line #2 to that button.

I will go directly to Ext 21 and do a Feature 00.

I went right to Extension 21, dialed Feature 00, push button 'B' (Line #2) is says DXD button. I went back to Ext 10 and it will not allow me to remove it. Any ideas to remove it? Could it be a hard drive glitch?

Your translations are corrupted. Yor're going to need to default the system and start over. Possibly the remote programming GUI would let you remove the button, and then restore and restart.

If your absolutely sure the DXD button is on extension 21 and you can't remove it, then you will have to default the system and see if that clears it. If it does then reprogram the system from scratch. If not you will need a new Processor.
