Fantom dn question 1

I have a secretary phone, 2616 with two add on modules. she has numerous dn appearances. when someone is on there telephone on key zero the diamond is lit,so the secretary knows they are on the phone. How do you make the diamond lite up if they are using another dn on another key?

add SCN for no ring
add SCR for ring

If she wants to be able the answer the call SCN/SCR is the correct answer. SCN/SCR for the main line and SCN/SCR for the second line.

If she just wants to know when the phone is busy - BFS key will show when the set is busy or forwarded.

What do you mean bsf. on the secretary phone make it key x bfs xxxx instead of scr xxxx

The BFS mnemonic and the Managers TN are assigned to a key on the Sec's set...
eg
ld 11

TN x x x x
echg yes
item key x BFS TN ( Managers TN)
<cr> back to REQ
the four lamp conditions are
not lit...phone is free and not call forwarded
Lit Steady..phone is busy and not call forwarded
Fast Flash..phone is free and call forward is active
Slow Flash..Phone is busy and call forward is active
