I have a report: Manager - drilldown to Project Type - drilldown to Details. For Managers I have report name on the page header (which is OK). For Project Type paret I need a different header and for Details also.
How could I do this??

Thank you

If you have Crystal 9...you can have the 3 Headers hold different labels...then, in the Section Expert of each header (other than GH1) you can put in the X-2 --> drilldowngrouplevel <> 2

the number will be at the drilldown level that you WANT to see that header...

if you don't have crystal 9, you will have some problems with formatting....

I have Crystal 9. Could you please explain how to do this.

Thank you very much

OK...lets say you have this layout

GH1
GH2
Details
GF2
GF1

Hide/Drilldown OK on GH1....
when you click on GF2, you will have the GH1 and GH2 showing on the second level...to avoid this...

go to the section expert of GH2 and where there is the supress option....don't check it but go into the X-2 formula section and put in DRILLDOWNGROUPLEVEL <> 1....

This will only show the GH2 when you are at the detail level...
try it and let me know if you can get it to work...

Thank you very much. I did it a little bit different.
My report looks like:

PH - Report name
GH1 - Manager name (show)
GH2a - header (supress/drilldown OK)
GH2b - Proj Type (supress/drilldown OK)
GF3a - (grouped by Proj#), header(supress/drilldown OK)
GF3b and GF3c - details (supress/drilldown OK)

I need:
Report name when I open Proj Type and Report name when I open GF3 part.
When I open GH1 I have:

Report name

A.Smith
B.Lake
C.Taub
D.Halk

Then I click on C.Taub and I want to have:

Report name

A.Smith
B.Lake
C.Taub
Type1
Type2
Type3....
D.Halk

Is it possible???

Thank you very much

I don't think that is possible...from what I can think you'd either see the whole level or non of the level...

DLC

Thanks.
Another question...

I open the report and see:
Report name
A.Smith
B.Lake
C.Taub
D.Halk
Then click on B.Lake and I want to have
Report name
B.Lake
Type1
Type2
Type3...
In reality I do not see Report name over B.Lake.

Thank you again

One thing that I do is to put the data you want to see in the footer sections....It looks like your "B.Lake" is in a header...

this way you can use your headers to store your report name on different levels.

Thank you very much. I'll try and let you know

I found different way to get this header. But now I have another question:

I have:

Report Name by Manager
A.Smith
B.Lake
C.Taub
D.Halk
Click on B.Lake:
Report name by Manager
B.Lake
Type1
Type2
Type3....

Click on Type2:

Type2 (I want to make it invisible)

Report Name for B.Lake, Type2
Proj1
Proj2
Proj3......

Is it possible to eliminate Type2 in last step????

Thank you very much

vshapiro,

You said you found a different way to show a page header when drilling down in a report in your July 10th note but you did not specify how you did this. I need to do the same thing. Can you let me know how you did it?

Thanks in advance...

Matthew
