failover not working for Pix515e

Just configured a new Pix515 with a failover both running 6.3(4).

sh failover shows standby in failed mode any ideas?

Is this PIX logging to a syslog server?
If so, review the logs from that day/time.

If it's not logging to a syslog server, you might want to check out Kiwi Syslog.
