Failed to open document. Not supported. CR 8.5

I have a CR 8.5 report recently created. It operated well until I had a machine crash (winxp). After rebooting I get the &quot;Failed to open document.<OK> Not Supported. <OK> dialogues.

Seems like the RPT file may be corrupt. Anyway to tell? Other reports open fine.
 
Thank you. I had applied the latest service pack to no avail. Guess I was hoping against the obvious...
 
I've found it necessary to take backup copies of Crystal reports, using [Save As]. Because you do occasionally get faults that make them unusable. If you have a backup, you only lose an hour or two's work rather than several days.
