Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Standard Server, running Exchange Server 2003 SP2. We back it up with Brightstor Arcserve 11.5 SP3.

The backup is working fine, however when I create or modify a job from within Arcserve Manager I get the error "Failed to Login to the Agent". This happens when I try to expand the server out to see the individual components to backup (eg drive, Brick level etc). If I click OK (my only option) a Security dialog box appears asking for username/password for the server. If I click Cancel then the server expands out as requested. I can then select what to backup and it works fine. I can even view the individual mailboxes in the Brick level section.

This has only started to happen since I installed the Exchange Agent (not premium).

Any ideas??

Many thanks in advance,

Paul.

Sorry Guys for not getting back sooner - I know how frustrating that can be! I was on Holiday all week in Prague.

Anyway, I can't see any way of posting the actual .CAZ file here. Also Tek-Tips don't like showing Personal info so I can't post my email address. However, below is the contents of the readme.txt in the CAZ - perhaps it will give you some info to provide CA with. The patch really does work though, Good Luck!!
