failed 655a in G650, are they hot swappable?

hey all,

Great forum here enjoy reading alot of the threads. Got a minor issue here.

Power supply in our G650 is failed, currently running
on redundant one. I have heard mixed answers on this question. Are they hot swappable and do I run any risk
of the cabinet reseting itself if I insert the new one while running?

655A power supplies are hot swappable
may still be worth doing this at a quiet time though

The only ones that aren't hot swappable are the ones with the reverse Zener Diode defect, if you'r getting a new one in you should be fine, if you're installing one from stock and you haven't already checked look at the link below:
