Hi

I have a real newbie question for you. I have added a mp3 file and one mpeg file to my project and since the mp3 file is longer than the mpeg file I would like to fade out the mp3 file when the mpeg file ends. Could someopne explain how to do this in a simple way?

Best Regards

Expand your audio track to see the red band (left side of time line). This represents audio level. Click a point on the band in which you want to start fading. Then select the end of the band and drag it to the bottom (0 audio). You should see the band ramp down between these two points. This is based on Premiere 6.5.

In Premiere Pro, you can also do it using the cross-fade audio transition after first truncating the audio to the point where you want it to finish completely.

Or do the same as in earlier versions using the Pen tool to add and drag control points on the audio track levels 'rubber band'.
