Fade In Fade out Slide show without Javascript

Does anyone know of a way to create a fade in/out slide show without using javascript? I want to insert a slide show on my "myspace" page, but we are not allowed to use javascript. The only way i have seen it done is through Marque tags and i really don't care for the "marque" effect. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You could use Flash I guess. Other than that, no. Can't be done.

Or a Java applet. You might be able to find an ActiveX control to do that, but that would make the slideshow IE only.

An animated GIF would work, as well, and be pretty universal. To fade in and out, though, would mean a lot of frames and produce a rather large final graphic.

Are you sure that it's not java applets that are forbidden instead of javascript? There are some good javascript slideshows out there.

To be fair myspace isn't really a webhost.
Isn't it more of a community portal kind of thing that lets you upload pics to your profile page?
