Has anyone ever tried to factory default a 3300 controller. I know how to default the database but I want to clear all of the ROM and restore it to factory settings.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

depends on software

fresh full reload of the software is the best way and if its older doing a cd on the console

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Actually would like to clear the nvram. This box has got several old ip addresses that show up during the boot process.

Still havent advised what software
connect to console and do a cd
that restores it back to original 192.168 addressing
doing a motfcc with fixpartition installation will reform the HDD removing all other config

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thanks Billz66. I've been doing this a long time but never had to turn a system into a doorstop intentionally. Customer got into system with ROOT access and really created a mess that neither Mitel or I could fix. I'm starting from scratch because the available BACKUPS are corrupted too.
