One should NOT have to add any print drivers to the server in order for any printer to show up for a user's Terminal Session? (Speaking of TS Easy Print)

I run an x64 Terminal Server 2008, and have a user that connects and does not see his HP Color Laserjet 3800n. This user is running Windows XP sp3. I installed the printer on my Vista sp1 machine, logged in as the user, and the printer maps (redirects) as it should. Does anyone know what the deal is here?

Do you have the RDP 6.0 client installed on that XP computer?

As mentioned in the original post, "This user is running Windows XP sp3". The requirement is RDC 6.1 (even though XP sp3's version is 6.0.6001) it is considered 6.1.

did you configure in the properites of the RDP-Tcp connection in your Terminal Services Configuration to connect the local printer (or actually check that it is not disabled).

Yes I have a GPO to specify this, and Terminal Services Configuration has "Use connection settings from user settings" checked, and of course, it is checked on every user's profile.

I actually found out that Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 sp1 or higher (3.5) must be installed for TS Easy Print to work. I ASSumed it came with SP3, but I was wrong.

Issue arose today:
Server 2008, in a GPO, I have "Use TS Easy Print Driver first" and "Redirect only the clients default printer". This has been working great for all users that meet the requirments for it to work. I have 1 client, Windows XP sp3 and .NET Framework 3.5, FilterQueueType=FFFFFFFF in their registry, and has a HP Laserjet 2420 PCL 6 set as default on their computer. When they connect to the 2008 TS box, they have no printer available to them. When they log out and set their HP Laserjet 4200 PCL 6 as default, and log back in, it works as it should, only 4200 printer is available.
What's the deal hear? The TS Easy Print Driver is SUPPOSED to work with any, and all printers, as it is "driverless" printing, much like Citrix and UNIPRINT. Is there a limitation? The whole point of TS Easy Print is so you (as an admin) do not have to add any print drivers. I will attempt this from home on a test XP sp3/.NET 3.5 laptop, but can only add it as LPT, since I don't physically have one. Are there any suggestions? or has anyone run into similar issues?

I setup the 2420 on my test machine via LPT and it works, but don't know if it would make any difference via USB or TCP/IP with the actual printer.
