Hi All,

I have this error while trying to execute a report:

"Fact does not exist at a level that can suppport the requested for analysis"

I am sure most of you have come across this.

From my knowledge, there may be two reasons for this...

1) If the fatc is not defined at the intended level
2) If the parent child relationship is not proper.

Can someone please suggest me where to start when such error is encountered.

Thank you all in advance.

The error can occur for a number of reasons, and there is no set method to start looking for it.
One obvious way is to define a level metric and hope that it exists at that level.
Else fact extensions work too.
I am really not sure how much of a role parent-child relationships play in this error, but you will need to provide more information about the error so that I can help you

Hi iolaper,

Thank you for your suggestions. It seems like I was able to figue out the culprit here. And now my report seem to be working.

Thank you very much.
