F8 Not Working.... 3

Hello
When my WIN200pro Systems boots I get to a screen that states hold down the F8 button for other options. I know that normally it should get me to the list of boot opts like safe mode etc. My machine will not get to that menu. I hold F8 during boot I have pressed it repeatedly another time.Is there yet another way to get to that menu besides F8.

did you try tapping F5 on bootup. It should bring up the screen as well. Though with some machines pressing f5 loads Safe mode automatically.

Give it a shot anyway

Are you by any chance running a USB keyboard? If so (I could be wrong) the keyboard is not loaded until after you pass this option. Try using a non USB keyboard.

Thank you both I changed the connection on the keyboard and I am now able to access the safe mode and the other menus.
