Hey guys and gals,

We have an older Black Diamond running Extremeware 6.2.2B134 (b/c we have 6 F32T cards and the EW 7+ does not support them).
Recently, we purchased five F48Ti cards to upgrade to version 7.6 or whichever is out there.
Now when I configure the blades (which are visible in 6.2.2), I add ports 6:1-6:48 (for example) to vlan accounting, and then plug in a device.
The device gets an IP address, can browse its own lan, but when I goto the internet, no response! I can traceroute, ping, and do everything, but for some reason no response on browsers!
Is there anything special I need to set on the 48Ti settings?
Right now our switch is used for basic L3 routing, nothing special going, IPF is enabled to all subnets; our firewall does all the QoS and security.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance as always!

Check the firewall rules/log files they should tell you if the http traffic is being dropped. I'm presuming that when you say you can ping and traceroute you're going to public internet IPs, so routing is fine.

Hi rn4it, thanks for quick response! How would I check the logs? Sorry, noob to Extreme! I did just the basic setups, such as creating vlans, adding ips, adding ports, dns-client, etc. Nothing heavy duty.

you need to check your Firewall logs and Firewalls rulebase. What does it show? Do these devices on the new blade belong to a new subnet?
