Hi, Im very new to Cisco Cal manger. We have 6.1 I believe

We have phones in classrooms that when dialed supposed to go striaght to VM during a time frame of 8am-4pm. But noticed alot seems to ring directly into the room.
But then the next day would be fine and go straight to VM, why would it do that?

Thanks for any help

This can be achieved in 2 ways.
One is by manually call forwarding the phone to voice mail.
The other is called time of day routing, which changes the call routing depending on the time and day.
If noone is manually forwarding the phones then it is the second option that is occuring. If it is intermittent the it the times and dates are not set up correctly.

For intermittent problems my first suggestion would be to reboot the servers. Easiest thing to do. Then if the problem persists, follow whykaps suggestion and start checking your manual forwarding or TOD forwarding settings.

thanks for the help
Its actually back to normal, I dont know how but its back for now.
I didnt do anything, it probly reset overnight.
Thanks
