You should be able to log into Extreme Networks eSupport website and download the code yourself as long as you have software maintenance.

That's not correct , due my equipment was Purchased on Ebay, and I tried to renegociate the support with extreme network more than ones having no result after a tedious support protocol, no more options left than recurr to the really helpfull community.

You can always go through CDW or some other retailers and ask for S/F maintenance for your Extreme switches. They will sell you a contract and get you hooked up with Extreme. Even if you bought the switch on Ebay, and esp if you do not opt for H/W replacement.
