Extreme Paging Volume (KXTD-1232)!

Is there a way to lower the paging volume on a KXTD-1232?
Background Music plays at a nice level but pages come through WAY too loud! This is over both an amplified PA system AND over Panasonic XDP phones as well. The volume level on the phones is as LOW as it will go and still it's too loud.

Please Help! Going Deaf!

You will find on your AMP that it will have it own output volume control and probably a master, best to play with these level until you find the best sound quality, some speaker also have independant volume switch. also you may find that from the AMP to the telephine system you will have a interface box which everything wires into check the BT5/PAM10 check this out

Don't use the MIC input, use the line-level input. If the amp does not have a line-level input it should be replaced with one that does. Or you can purchase a mic-to-line level PAD.
