Everytime I run the Import External Data in Excel it lets me connect to the Access Database and pick the query already setup. but when it runs it comes up with an error saying "To Few Parameters. Expected 3"

Any ideas would be greatfully recieved. Kind Regards

From Microsoft's Support Web site it sounds like it is having problems with your parameters. I would guess that if you created a duplicate query where you hard-coded the parameter values it should work without a problem.

Personally, what I do most of the time is run the query in Access, select all records, copy them, and paste them into a blank Excel spreadsheet. I created a macro in Excel to reformat the pasted data to my liking.

Do you have any "user input" [parameters] in your access query?

ETID,

Yes I do!! I have a start date and and end date!

Kind Regards

Ok, then remove them from the access query and add them to MSquery in excel. (there is a drop down in the menu for criteria in msquery).

Thanks Mate! Sorted!

I wish I had found this out ages ago LOL! Kind Regards
