I have a macro called ShiftF6, that is mapped in my keyboard layout to Shift + F6. When I press Shift + F6 in my telnet session, it enters "ShiftF6" instead of running my macro. When I change the keyboard layout to point Shift + F6 to C:\Program Files\E!PC\macros\ShiftF6.ebm, it types "C:\Program File". thread99-522884 is a closed thread that calculus created the day he registered on this subject, but with no resolution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that was what brought me to this board. As it turns out, many versions of Extra simply don't support keyboard mapping. The only way to get past this is to use the toolbar with accelerator keys.

I also use Windows shortcut keys to point to some VB programs. I would think you could also create a shortcut on the start menu to an EBM file. When you fire the shortcut the macro should also fire. I've not tried this, but it should work. The danger being that even if you're not in Extra this would fire the macro and probably generate a message box (depending on the code for failing to create the objects).

Thanks for the propmt response. Unfortunately for me, this works on some of our machines that are running the same version of Extra! PC. I wish I could say "Sorry, you just can't do it.
