Extns connecting via WAN port 3300 4.2

4.2 3300 is on a separate Vlan to the data network (a L3 procurve does the inter vlan routing). The customer has VPN access into the Data Vlan, but, their VPN routers do not support VLANs (so the remote routers only have a route to the data VLAN) I've tried adding static routes on the endpoint routers to point voice vlan traffic to the data gateway, but that does not seem to work. Would it be possible to configure a static address in the Data vlan on the WAN port and point the remote IP phones to this address?

I've tried registering a phone locally to the wan port and it did not work, so I guess that's a no! I'll see if I can talk them into upgrading their VPN setup.
