Which external Voice Mail machine can work with MD110 ?
I need external Voice mail machine that can notify MD110 that message has arrived, so LED is lit on digital telephone.

I'm about to start building a PC to run one of these smaller PC based VM systems. It's from a company called Oak telecoms based in the UK. will report back on how easy to use/set up etc it is. i'm going to be connecting it to an ICU card as could not get an ICU2.

the ericsson IV mail system is not all that good. I've looked after them before and just found they are not all that good. I can recommend the Octel serenade 200/300 systems and onebox is pretty good as well. both are easy to administer and have a good array of features.

DiaVox is the best , i have installed many DiaVox systems on MD110 all releases are good, and no problems in the future at all.

We used Active voice Repartee system when we had BC8 & then BC10 with The old IBM system.
Now we are running Win 2000 server with Repartee & BC12 win 2003 server, Hardware HP 350's. 16 voice mail ports dilogic cards.

Just as a follow up to my comment about being in process of installing an external VMX.

The voxpro system that i've got is not the most user friendly. After doing the physical install and Ericsson programming you also have to construct a flowchart like system within the voxpro describing how the calls are answered and handled. This has to be done from a very vague manual that contains almost no useful information on the subject.

All in all not a great solution.

cheers
