Bah Hit the Submit to fast....
Its Like the setup of the above post, But This instance you would program the speed dials on the personel phones not the phantom. IE: Each phone can program the Speed dials on their Personnel Speed dials and do the Forward command to each personnel speed dial. IE: F11 XX(Ext to be forwarded) yy (Speed dial number)
Sorry, I didn't read it all the way through the first time. The customer that I'm dealing with has a 1.1 ACS and they had the system installed at another location and swear up and down that they were able to transfer externally at their old location without Centex service. Is there any way to do it on that system without Centrex service.
ACS R6.0 was the first release to have remote call forward.
Was ths system upgraded from 1.1 to 6.0?? Hit feature 59 at a display phone to verify release. Are they talking about outcalling from voicemail? What voicemail do they have??
Yeah I checked the release. It's definately 1.1 and I don't think they even had VM on the system. I'm thinking they're just full of crap. Thanks for the help.
Your customer may have been correct, because there is a feature called "Call Transfer Disconnect"(Pacific Bell), that is available on a per line basis that does just that! It is the 3-Way Calling feature with the "transfer" part added. Some service providers may call it something else and is available in 5ESS & DMS100 switches. You will have to check with the service provider to see if they offer it.
