External Transfer to mobile - cannot get mobile message prompt

Hi

I have an issue with a client whereby when a call is is not answered it is diverted to the cellphone.
It rings out on the cell phone and "should" land into the cell phone voice mail box.

When I tested this, all the call forwarding and timing works good and call lands to mobile, however it does not play the mobile voice message greeting to leave a message.

However, when I tested from a Land-line, it all works fine and I can hear the message.

Any ideas?

Does the mobile ring?
If so, then it's not a Mitel issue, since the switch has done it's job. You'll have to check your settings in the cell phone...
 
check your call forward no ans timer for the trunks?

@cinter : yes the mobile phone rings, but I it happens to all cell phone, regardless which I call from or forward to.

@chelmik : the call forwards to the cell phone, it just doesn't give you the prompt as "to leave a message".

They are using SIP trunks.
 
Did you actually check the Call forward no answer timer for the trunks as chelmik suggested?

I would also check the transfer recall timer.

Ok I think I was not clear enough in my first posts:

This is the issue I am facing:

Successful Call
DID called: 037777777 (maps to number 0377777778)
Caller : 0399999999(land-line)
divert to Mobile number 0411111111 when no answered 1st Alt reroute
**when engaged, goes to mobile message prompt) - can hear the prompt perfectly

Failed call
DID called: 037777777 (maps to number 0377777778)
Caller : 0422222222 (mobile)
divert to Mobile number 0411111111 when no answered 1st Alt reroute
**when engaged, goes blank – no message prompt

Nothing changes, just dialling from different devices...
 
So mobile calls fail all others work? Mobile calls from a phone with the same carrier as the mobile receiving the call? What kind of trunks?

You can't duct tape stupid.
