I am attempting to transfer calls from a CCR tree to another location. In other words, one of my paths is ext transfer but cannot make it work. It says, "the line or line pool is not configured correctly". I have done this before but cannot remember how to do it. I feel like I've tried everything but I know I'm missing something.

Oh, MICS 0x32 with Startalk Flash 4

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The Vmail ports need access to the Pool or PRI. If it's a PRI you need Dest. Codes and Routes, and you need the Dest. Code in the CCR Path.

Thank you for the response...

But, the Vmail port does have access to line pool a and I continue to get "the line or line pool configured for this call is not valid"

I've also tried using an individual line instead of the pool. Assign all lines to a phone and call from my cell..I can see the call come in on the main line, hit the option off the CCR. I can see the Vmail pick up the line I assigned and then it still comes back and says the same thing. I'm having the same problem in two different locations.

Have you got your line pool properly identified? In ksu programming your first pool is "A", but in Flash programming the first pool is "1". A=1. Had a friend get hung up on this before.

Yes, I have that. I've even tried placing a line in a pool by itself and using that pool and it didnt work.

You are correct, thank you very much. I changed it as soon as you asked that question and it worked...at both sites.

It's always a good idea on any MICS/CICS to make sure all of your POTS lines are supervised or they'll be lockin' up on you constantly, especially if you have vmail. I'm not even sure why unsupervised is still an option. I've never used it for anything.

Never programmed an Unsupervised Line since 1995.

Supervised is the standard, these days. Why is Unsupervised still prog default? It's hard to train new techs to change that when they do an install, and sometimes I forget to do it myself.
