external to external transfer

WE HAVE A HIPATH 4000 V6 INSTALLED IN DSCXL2 PROCESSOR IN DUPLEX; WHEN I CALL AN EXTERNAL LINE AND TRY TO TRANSFER FOR ANOTHER EXTERNAL LINE I HAVE A IMPOSSIBLE MESSAGE. WOULD ANY ONE HELP ME WITH THAT? WHERE TO MODIFI; IS IT A ZAND PARRAMETTER OR WHAT.

Hi.

Check COT transfer related parameters on affected trunk.
Make sure that partner sys connected to 4k supports transfer Facility.

COT: XFER,NOCT,NOCI.
COP: L3AR REGISTRATION OF LAYER 3 ADVISORIES

Also check if you have F5417 error messages in Hista during transfer.

If you do not want to send transfer messages to a specific trunk then NOCT needs to be set in the relevant
COT of that trunk or route.

Not to send CT info on an I/C trunk then NOCT needs to be set for that trunk.
Not to send CT for an O/G trunk then NOCT should be set in the COT of the o/g trunk OR COTIDX of the O/G route.

After checking the parameters that adibv has told you, it is also important to set the parameter "TTT" in the COS that is being used by the extension.
