I have upgraded from a Panther612 system to a BCM50. In the old system we had external paging zones that were off individual phone sets. We had the external paging speakers connected to the intercom on the individual set on the Panther system. So when you paged the individual set, it was broadcast over the paging speaker. Also this set was in our night service group so that when night service was on, the phone rang through the external page speaker. All of our phones are IP1220 phones. Can I do this with the BCM50 with perhaps an different type of desk phone?

I dont believe you can do this. To my knowledge none of the BCM phones have an audio out jack execpt for maybe the T7100 courtesy phone.

Years ago we used to break open a set (and void the warranty), and bridge onto the internal speaker using an algo duet plus.

We would prefer to have seperate zone paging so not to bother people in other parts of the plant that the page does not pertain to. I was looking at the Algo 1825 Duet Plus and was wondering if I could have my external paging (all in one zone) and plus have the phone ringing over the existing amplified external paging speakers by utilizing the Duet and setting up Aux Ringing on the extension or hunt group that we would forward the calls to at night.
