I'm moving many of my js functions to a common external .js file for convenience and code consolidation.

Will this help reduce page load times?

Thanks Rick!

Do I have to still call the js script in every page or can I just call the function since its in cache?

For example, I have a script that I load on every applicable page:

i.e. <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="
When I call any one of the functions in that script, do I still need to load it first with the line of code from above?
