I have a user that cannot send external emails, everybody else in the building works fine. Could somebody point me in the direction to correct this issue as I can't find anything untowards in the users mailbox settings within Exchange?

Need more info.

Is he using outlook?
Where is he sending to?
Can he receive mail?
Does he receive any Undeliverable messages?
Has this suddenly started happening?
Are there any limits set on his mailbox?
Have you checked the x400 and smtp addresses?

Cheers

Hi Tony,

The NDR you posted is stating that the person your user is sending to doesnt exist on that destination server. This isnt a problem with your users external email.

He has either mistyped the email address or the person he is trying to send to doesnt exist by that address anymore.

'550 No helen@gemro.com user here (or domain for forward)'

This is the destination server telling you the reason. Which means his extenal mail is working correctly. Because it reached the destination server.

Set up a hotmail account and ask him to send to that. Monitor it.

Cheers
