I have some problems with External Destinatios. Is it possible to set category for ED? To set outgoing call barring? With extensions is easy, but set restriction for external destination in MD110 is difficult(for me). How can I set that?
You need to set Call Descrimination data under NADAP. Then use this call descrimination in setting up your extension CAT. You can check it in Alex document. Regards.
I contacted Ericsson about this problem and they said that this is not possible. I dont understand. How is that impossible? We use that external destination like regular telephone and I want to restrict phone calls on that ED. Someone here said that this is possible?
<RODDPEST=2400;
EXTERNAL DESTINATION ROUTE DATA
DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE
2400 93 00050000000002500000000000 0 1 0
if you want to restrict access to 2400 from extns in only some CAT, then in NADAP numtyp CD set 2400 with certain TRAF related to ext CAT and this will restrict the same as any other number restriction. If this is now what you are asking then please be clear about what you want to do.
OK, thanks! Another question: do you recommend that I create two routes, one where is everything allowed, and one where I block international calls? And then initiate dest 2400 on route where I blocked international numbers?
How to create 2 routes on one E1/T1 connection? Now I have 1 route(trunks 1-1&&1-31), is it OK to initiate another route on trunks 1-25&&1-31? Will it work? Do I have to do something with signalling?
