Hello,

I was wondering if its possible to enable external caller ID on a analog set? The caller ID work inside the district but outside numbers do not. I posted below the TN config. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

The TN you posted is a phantom TN. It cannot originate calls and does receive calls directly.

If you want to see the CLID of incoming external calls then that feature needs to be enabled on the trunks for a start.
Do you see the CLID on non-analog phones?

The method that transmits the CLID information is called CLASS (don't remember the breakdown of the acronym). It has its own section in the Features and Services guide. Few people know how to implement it so you really need to want it bad to go forward. I would move the user to a 3901, 1110, etc before I would try to go down the CLASS direction.

Analog caller-id also requires an additional CLASS Modem card in the switch (Shared resource), and special class licenses (instead of an analog license, you have a CLASS license instead (in ld 10 - I show Analog Phones and Class Phones)
In the older releases, the licenses were separate; I'm not sure how it works since the addition of IP licenses. Maybe all the older phones were one license, and IP phones are separate now? Since I'm still back on 4.5 I don't know for sure....
