My Client has a Partner ACS Rel 7 with 4 lines and 5 extensions. For night service she wants callers to have an option to reach her on her cell phone. Station 14 has speed dial 80 forwarded to her cell phone. Everything was working fine until she got busier and has more than one call forwarded at a time. The first call forwards without a hitch, but whe the second call is forwarded there is no sound, and the lines from the second call lock up. She then has to go in and manually release the lines.

First line is for incoming only.
Line 4 is in pool 880 and lines 2 and 3 are in pool 881
ALS seq on forwarded phone is:
main pool, main pool, pool 881
Lines 1 thru 3 have Group 7 - VMS AA assigned
# of lines for all lines busy event is set to 4

This only seems to happen when Line 2 forwards out on line 3 .
All lines are OK

Is something misprogrammed or is it time to [flush] the processor?

VMS is: Partner Voice Messaging PC Card Release 3.0 Small

Whay version ACSR7? Do a feature 59 from a display phone and report your findings.

Get the latest upgrade for the ACS. The "E" needs to be upgraded. The "I" fixed a remote call forward disconnect issue. The "J" fixed the privacy issue that the "I" created plus every thing "I" fixed. The "K" fixed the daylight savings plus everything "J" fixed.

Also soon to be released "N" upgrade with some cool features (hotdialing to name one)still in "BETA" testing. There are some lucky customers out there using it as we speak.

What other features will be added with the N patch? [ponder]

Still happened after software update. Turns out that whenever she had all lines occupied, the system would lock up. I added her DSL line to the main pool and that cured all.
