Hi,
A customer had a power outage lately and his mics lost all its config.

We have plans to switch over to ip within a few months but I needed to get the mics back on its feet.

I managed to reprogram everything the way it was, but the forward from set to external numbers.

Route programming was done and the forward works perfectly if we call the NA from another set, it correctly transfers to the cell phone.

However if the reception is at 221 attempts a transfer of an active call over to the NA, it says transfer impossible.

Any hint would
Be appreciated. Thanks

Yea. And it’s Eva led on all sets that need the forward, even on the 221.
Otherwise calling the na via the intercom
Button wouldn’t transfer to a cell.

Strange...

Lets do a check list:

-4.1 software an up
-Dest code uses Route YYY
-Route YYY uses Pool X (or BlocZ if PRI)
-Lines are in Pool X (ignore if PRI)
-If using Dest code 9 then make sure under Access Codes that Ext Code 9 is set to none.
-Redirect = Y under sets
-Sets/Line Access Pool X=Y (or BlocA = Y if PRI)
-Line/s XXX are Supervised

User:
With caller on the line press Transfer
Dial 9 XXX-XXX-XXXX, wait for an answer before hanging up.

I wonder if "transfer impossible" translates to "Access Denied"?
That would seem to point to the Allow Redirect is set to N

"Otherwise calling the na via the intercom" and "active call over to the NA"
What does "NA" mean?

Pool A code to get ext line is 9 and permitted for all sets.
Route is used code 8.

If ser at set 221 calls ext 245, the system uses a line and ring the appropriate cell phone.

But if same set tries to transfer an active call to 245, it doesn’t work.

I can ask the user to set its set language to English and get back with the proper error message.

Na =attribution number (221,245)

Ok. More info

User at 221 can get an outside line using pool a.
She press intercom 9 and gets an outside line right away.

But if she wants to transfer an active line, as soon she click transfer then 8 or 9, she gets « transfer denied ».

Allow redirect is ON on that set.

Is there a transfer option that could possibly be disabled ? I’m driving now (900km today) so I don’t have access to a test system.

Thanks a lot for your time, it’s really appreciated.

I agree "-Line/s XXX are Supervised"

As for Link at CO it is related to using the Link option with the carriers line features.
MontrealSoft, I assume you verified they do not have that option?
With caller on the line: LINK plus the tel #, LINK again to release yourself.

"(900km today)"
I am guessing Moncton for some brownie points.

You’re close ! Miscou Island actually!

System worked perfectly before the programming was erased by successive power failures (bad ups). So the lines do have that option.

I will have to look for line supervision, yet I do remember doing that programmation on line 1 before copying to all the enabled lines.
