Quick question - I have 2 DID ranges on my incoming PRI, one for extensions and the other for DID fax numbers. Since my fax server lives in another city I would like to turn around all the DID fax numbers and send them back out the PRI, replacing the first 8 digits with new ones. I know how to do this on the definity, but have no clue how to make it work on the IP Office.

TIA.

the easiest way is to type the destination number into the destination fied when you set up the incomming call route.

In the management util, under Incoming Call Route I have created an entry for the DID number (I've tried both the last 4 digits and the whole DID), with a Line Group ID of 0 like all the other extensions, a type of AnyVoice and the destination of the 10 digit extension to be forwarded to.

When I do this, and call the number all I get is a busy signal, I have tested the number I am forwarding to and it is answering with a fax tone, plus I never see the call listed in the call-status application. If I remove the entry altogether from the Incoming Call Route area then it will ring, it displays in the call-status application and my operator console rings.

I have tried using 916665551212, 16665551212 and 6665551212 as the destination number and none seem to work.

TIA.

At least 1 of the above should be working

I would sugest the next step is to run a monitor trace on the out going lines to try to pin down the problem

30362, shouldn't you be using AnyData or Any as the bearer capability?
