Mics 6.1, call pilot 100, 15 sets, 7 trunk lines, AA answers all 7
Customer uses call fwd from his ext to his cell phone. This works fine for approx 6 to 7 hours. After that, his cell phone rings, he answers and hears nothing, the person that called hears a busy single. When he returns to work the next day, his ext still shows call fwd on the display. It's like there's some clock or timming device that is resetting certain things, but the display still shows call fwd.
Never seen this one.
Thanks

Call forwarding external is done using routing service tables. Just like ring services, routing services can be set/reset automatically. Are there any routes set up that are turned on/off automatically based on time of day?

Marv

I set up the route, just picked a number at random, Maybe the number I picked was set up that way. I guess, I check this routing services?
Thanks

It could be what marv said, but if the cell is ringing, then it sounds like the routing is working. Could be something more along the lines of his cell phone provider, or the MICS messing something up. I have seen your problem with earlier versions and PRI, but not with analog trunks. Are these standard analog CO lines?

Yes, 7 analog all in hunt, One other thing here, The ccr tree is set up with 2 of the selections doing a external transfer, this seems to be working fine. I understand that this is not the same as call fwd, just trying to give all the info.
Thanks for the help

OK- yes check routing and make sure no schedules are in effect.
The problem I was referring to has been discussed here before. I don’t know why, but upon call fwd using routing with some cell phones, you get that busy signal/hang up problem. It is touched upon here…
thread799-741487

I would set up the route to a landline or different cell phone to see if the problem repeats. I don’t know what causes it.

Since you have analog lines you can always get the feature from your carrier.
I have ran into many troubles forwarding to cell phones in the past from all different kinds of systems.
