external call forwarding not working 1

hello all

so we have a client who want to forward their calls in case of no answer to a cell phone
i have configure all necessary settings in the IP Office 500 v2 including analog trunk to trunk because they using analog trunks.
so when i call on the phone it just keep ringing without forwarding.
am i missing something ?

What version IP Office is it?
What is the 'no Anser Time' set at under /user/telephony/ ?
 
Have you tried tracing with Monitor?
It usually says why.

System > Telephony > Telephony 'inhibit of switch ... unticked?
 
It is also worth bearing in mind that trunk to trunk transfers on analog line can be troublesom if you do not hav a reliable disonect clear so this may not be a good thing to do.



Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
Please provide more information. First off, as Okkie26 stated, do you have Inhibit Off-Switch Forward/Transfer unchecked in the System>telephony tab? If not it simply will not work.

From there are you trying to transfer to a cell phone in the case of no answer or are you transferring with a forward unconditional? If you are doing forward unconditional are you using a button to set the number or using the user>forward tab? If using user>forward tab which check boxes do you have check and where do you have the number input? When you input the forward number are you adding the 9(or whatever you use to dial out) and the 1 and area code if needed?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

IP OFFICE 500 v2 revision : 9.1

Inhibit Off-Switch Forward/Transfer unchecked = yes
i'm trying to transfer to a cell phone in a case of no answer
i did the setup on user>forward tab

i did a test manually and it works so the transfer work but not automatically
and i tried on several ip offices with different version

Analogue trunks usually means group calls, it will not work for collective groups nor if you don't have "forward group calls" ticked.
If you're just stumbling around the system programming trying to make it work, you need to stumble with a bit more focus :)

well it seems that the line appearance causing this problem so i remove them from the user and now it works
