I have an 800 number that I need to forward a 500 set to.I have cfxa cfw 16 and it will take the 800 number when you do the # 1 but when I call the ext after setting call forward I get a message You have been forwarded to a voicemail system how ever the person at **** does not subscribe to this service. Goodbye. I have a few phones set up to forward to outside lines and they work fine, why won't this one work? This is on an option 81.

Thanks for the help Mike Patti

you say the person at **** does not subcribe. What number is the system saying to you. Is it part of the 800 number. Print the tn does it show ftr cfw 16 than your 1800 number. R u using 9 than 1 -800?

It gives you the DID number of the phone that is forwarded to the 800 number. TNB does show FTR CFW 16.I am putting in 91800******.

Thanks for the help Mike Patti

prt the tnb of the 500 and post it here, the class needs to be cfxa fna and the ncos/tgar must allow the call, plus the inbound trunk must have permission to make that 1800 call.

do your #1 again. #1 than the number. The number should show in your print out. ftr cfw 16 than the 91800 number.

I ensured phone was in fact forwared to 800 number and also did a trace from another ext to the phone that is forwared to the 800 no.
