Hello,

Is it possible to forward only the external calls to a specific number?

i.e. any external caller phones in and gets transferred to another internal number, while any internal call should ring on the same phone.

System is MX-ONE 4.1.

Thanks,

what is it you want to do, don't understand, maybe give some dummy numbers?

Ok, let's say I have an extension 1222 which is receiving all external/internal calls. What I am looking for is a way I can transfer or forward all incoming external calls from that extension to another extension 1333.

In this way extension 1222 will only receive internal calls and any incoming external calls will be forwarded to extension 1333.

Hope its clear.

Thanks,

Hi,
Read in Alex the parameter ORGSEL (PELPI)
The parameter states that depending on the origin, the call may be deflected to an answering position.

The calling origin can be: internal/private, PBX operator, or public/unknown.

This parameter allows the call to be answered depending on which type of origin is executing the call.

Good, thanks.

PELPI command doesn't work in MX-ONE anymore. But there is something similar where we can transfer numbers based on their origin, internal or external.

Tested and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks again.

number translation is the usual way to do what you want to do (the old NUTRI command)
