Hi,

I have a customer that want to activate external call forward. I made all the things that I know about call forward but nothing happens.

I put some logs from the PBX. Could some body tell me what I missing?

There is only one route. The access code (AC1) is the ACOD of the route:

I made some trace on D-Channel and when I made the call to extension that had external call forward activated, on trace I have this message:

"DCH 20 UIPE_OMSG CC_REJECT_REQ REF 0000FBCA CH 2 17 TOD 17:35:26 CK 590DA180
CAUSE: #63 - SRV OF OPTION NOT ALLOWED

The NCOS=3 has FRL=3, i changed the CFF into CFO in RDR but no results.

Somebody have idee what is wrong with this configuration and who can escape the "CAUSE 63 - SRV OF OPTION NOT ALLOWED "?

Thank you,
Mike

Can you call that number direct? If not, look in your npa tables and add the npa.

if i read you right and you just want to call forward external

set CFXA in the CLS of the set

because the acod is 9, you are not using bars, all bets are off. nortel tech support will not touch that until the software (bars) is complete

pbxn - i can call direct the number

zog99 - the CFXA is allowed into set

johnpoole - i didn't program the pbx so when i saw that the access code is the ACOD of the route, i was thinking to reprogram the access code and the ACOD of route, RLI, SPN....

Another question: The secretary has a 3903 set and when she is not at the office and somebody call, she want to see which numbers are "missied". In this moment on the telephone display appears the numbers of missied calls but with "unkown name"

Thank you

HI,

Thanks a lot Johnpoole, after I configure the RLI, Route, SPN, Trunks,.. the external forward works.

Thank you,
Mike

On your display question, I think the only thing she needs to do is use the navigation arrows to move the the right. On the Call Log (Callers List), there should be a small arrow on the right side of the display. This indicates there is additional data to be viewed. Press the right arrow, and the name and number show up. You can also then scroll up and down to see both as you go through the log.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

I saw where is "unknown name" it is caller number. I forgot to tell about this.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't think you can do anything about UNKNOWN NAME. I think it depends on what info the caller's carrier passes. If she knows the person's name she can enter the name and number in her directory and then when a call comes in from that number it should show the name she programmed against it.

the name display depends on two things, carrier agreement and rcap entries.. you can monitor the dch in ld 96 to see if your getting names before you chase that problem very far
