Strange issue I can't seem to figure out, hoping for some guidance.
Customer has external call forward setup on x225 to forward to a cell phone. Routing and allow redirect and 2 intercom keys are all programmed. If you call the extension internally the call forwards as intended, if you manually transfer an external call to x225 it forwards as intended. The issue is with calls coming from the AA. If I get the AA and dial x225 the call transfers to the set x225 and hangs up. If I remove the forwarding from x225 the call rings the extension fine. I believe trunk to trunk transfer is turned on by the phone company since an external call will forward to the cell phone if transferred to x225 manually. Tried from multiple extensions. Not that it matters but the VM ports are not restricted and I tried turning on allow redirect for them but made no difference. We have reboot the MICS and Callpilot but still can't get transfers from AA to forward externally from an extension. Thanks in advance.

I think you are right, restricted by the phone provider

Looks like you have programming covered and does sounds like a carrier issue but just for the hell of it try putting in an OLI of your main number for all 4 vmail DN's (Ports).

Do you have supervision on the lines set to "Y" I think I ran in to this once and the supervision was set to "N".

I also think OLI missing on the voicemail ports might be the problem. A customer trying to program find me/follow me on a BCM50 with a PRI couldn't get it to work until he programmed the public OLI for all the virtual terminals. If that doesn't get it then it's a carrier issue. They like to charge extra for the ability to conference PRI channels.

Thank you for the responses. I have checked the OLI on the 4 VM ports and they were already programmed with the company's main number just like all the other extensions. So signs point to a carrier issue but I have to ask what service is being blocked? If I receive an outside call to my desk phone and manually transfer it to a desk phone that is externally call forwarded and the forward works, isn't that the same as the AA transferring to the same extension that's externally call forwarded?

Still haven't made any head way on this. Any other suggestions floating around? Thanks.
