External bell for IP phone? 1

Is there any smart solution for connecting an external bell or lamp to a Nortel IP phone?

I am happy for all alternatives!

You would need to have an 500 setup with the same dn.

yes, but that is a stoneage solution.. but I know its the best way in many situations.
I know that alcatel can connect a device direct in a connector on the phone.

sometimes i feel like a caveman, but i don't need an ip phone.. your using voip in a tdm world.. cisco is already working on a ip external ringer and they will cost 6 grand and only work half the time.. and you need to reboot it twice a day..
