Extention rings with outside calls

--Merlin newbie here with a question: How do you prevent an inside extention from ringing when an outside call comes in? We use WinSPM v9.
--Appreciate any help because my speciality is MS networking not telephony. Boss asked me to try and fix it before calling in an expensive consultant.

Go to the phone, press Speaker, #00, press ANY line, and dial *345. Press Speaker again to exit.

Or from WinSPM, Centralized Telephone Programming, Program Extension, type in the extension number and Enter, click on ANY line, and type *345.
