Extension voicemail password reset on VSU board

Anyone can help

I have Voicemail on VSU board.

I was trying to reset the integrated voice mail password for extensions. I try to end and re-initiate the but it doesn't worked.

What type of PBX/KSU?
IS it ipLDK (ARIA) or iPECS (Telennium)..?
Passwords are normally placed in PGM227 for the actual extension.

you are changing the SECNUM with IVBOC and the PIN does not change? You've restarted the board?

I didnt restarted the board...

I used the below commands

ivboe:dir=XXXX,vsd=XXX;
ivboi:dir=xxxx,vsd=xxx,vcat=01;

then from one extension dialed the voicemail number and tried to use password 1111 and 0000 but it doesnt worked

Thats because unless you use SECNUM password =dir
If the parameter is omitted the value in DIR is assigned. In that case, if the value in parameter DIR exceeds 6 digits, only the last 6 digits are assigned.

I have used IVBOCIR=XXX,VSD=555,SECNUM=1111; the password was changed to 1111
