I am at a facility that has a support line number, and I have my own number.
A particular person in the group refuses to call support no matter how many times told NOT to call my direct line.
My solution: program the system so that any incoming calls stemming from that person's particular extension to mine go straight to the support line.

Is it possible to do this and if so, how would I go about it?
I am on a Opt. 11c.

Thanks in advance for any help.

From a technical perspective, you would have to turn your extension into a steering code, and make the restriction too high for this person to dial you. Doing that now is going to mean re-writing all of your BARS, and just to stop one person from calling you.

You'll be better off walking to their desk and asking them what you or Support could do different to get them to call the correct number. They might have a valid case.

Ok. Won't be redoing BARS over this. We've talked to the person already. She doesn't want to follow protocol.

Not that we are here to give management advice, but the "we" that talked to that person might not be the right "we" :) or she would comply, since not following the rules is generally the difference between employed and not employed.
