Call pilot 150 with basci Call center software

Sometimes callers looking for specific extension get AA "you have reached an invalid extension"

repeat the extension dial and you get through...n the person at the extension was not on the phone when the call does come through

Any Ideas
 
Some versions do that, especaiily with cell phones. They are however upgradable. Best to have a qualified vendor check the DSP.

Is it the cell phone that is upgradeable or the MICS

What is the DSP?
 
The voice mail is upgradeable, depending on the version. The DSP is inside the voice mail, accessible via telnet.

This patch is intended for sites experiencing DTMF “echo” on CallPilot 100/150 platforms when dialing subscriber numbers via Automated Attendant. The key being that the second digit is echoed due, typically, to a high noise to signal ratio on loop start facilities. An example of this issue is as follows:

Caller dials Company XYZ’s CallPilot Automated Attendant after being prompted for the user’s subscriber’s number; caller dials 221, but is routed intermittently to 222, or dials 250 and is routed to 225 intermittently. Or gets invalid extension if the misheard DN does not exist.

The first step is to have a vendor determine your DSP version.
 
I can get access to the box it has it's own IP..how do I find the DSP version?

Is this in the manual anywhere?
 
I have searched the manual and there is no mention of DSP
 
no - it is not.
It requires a password that you do not have, and I am not going to post here.
It requires a patch that you do not have.
Hence, my recommendation that you call a vendor.
Who did you purchase this equipment from? That is who should be fixing it.
 
If you purchased this from some online vendor, if they are reputable they will be able to dial into it remotely to check the DSP, and fix if necessary.
 
We are registered with Nortel, so I logged on to the site and got the patch the instructions and the codes and passwords...Thanks BK
