I have an extension 3339 that I want to ring to my front desk. So i forward that call. OK. Fine.
I then want that call to get the operators voicemail box.
So I change my routing table to push 3339 vmail to the appropriate boxes.

I make a test call to 3339 and it just rings and rings at the front desk, never reaching vmail.

what am I doing wrong?
3339 has a coverage path (3 rings) and it's own vmail box.

thanks for the help.

I think this is a setting in the System Parameters (cha sys cov). Check your settings under Forwarding. I usually use the remote coverage table and put in a TAC code of one of the point-to-points to trick the system into treating the call as a new one, but that only works on a hard call forward.

Between the System forwarding settings, and the Cover Path settings, you should be able to get this to work. Good luck!
