Greetings all, yes, that means you CWC and Obtsystems, LOL.
I do confess that I am a newbie to the phone system and would like to challenge any of you to assist in resolving our "little" issue. CWC/Obtsystems, read all your posting and I quite impressed with you both, so here goes.
We are attempting to setup an extension-based IP gateway between our KX-TDE200 here at Pleasanton and our KX-TDA100 in San Francisco. We, my boss on vacation for the next two weeks, kept hitting a stumbling block getting the Virtual IP-GW16 card in the KX-TDE200 to In Service its ports ("Card Obstacle" error). What type of mistakes are we making here? My boss was the one who configured both systems so I may not be able to answer much. If someone can point/detail what I need to do, I am quite certain that I will be able to accomplish that.

I do thank you all gentlemen for review my post and perhaps throw in your 2 cents to resolve our issue.

Cheers,

Richard

Reset vm group and tenant back to default.
If you mean extensions, yes, there are currently only 4 marketing people in that small office. I trust that's what you mean, but when dialing out they "should" be routing thru the Pleasanton pbx.
Sorry for sounding dumb, but where would I check for the receive number option?
I did update the SF IP-GW4
Table No. 3 Leading Number 4 Remaining Number of Digits 2 Group No. GW No. 2 Comment San Francisco
The Pleasanton office would be similar with Leading Number 2/3/8
Also added in the TIE table Leading Number 4 and Trunk Group 2.
Lamentably, when dialing extensions from both side, receive fast busy. I had to reset the system because my boss configure the ip-gw16 card with ip of .52 and he removed that and inserted the ip-gw4 before he left on vacation for 2 weeks. So I gave the ip-gw4 the ip of .55. Had to update the ipcmpr DSP-VOIP entry from .52 to .55.
In the Numbering Plan Features screen, the Tie Line Access number, which is default of 7, what is it and where did that 7 come from or related to what? I do believe I am close obtsystems, but I am running out of time for the big boys would like this up and running ASAP. May have to bring in a contractor quite soon.

Thanks so much,

Richard
