Extending Voice Mail Length

Is there a way in Merdian Mail 1 Option 11C to extend the amount of time an outside caller has to leave a voice mail for just one extension. And/or extend the length of time overall. Thanks.

what is your voicemail system? you need to change the settings in your voicemail system. let me know what your voicemail system is and post back on your response.

The system is Meridian 1 Option 11C w/ Meridian Mail

go into the specific mailbox, look into the feature section and you should see extended voicemail greeting feature. post back on the specific mailbox and the features on it.

In the Class of service (either perosnal at the mailbox or one of the pre-defined ones in class of service adminitration) change the call answering lenght. The default is 1min. I usually set to 3.
